OK… I promise I will get away from all posts being about iPhones. This one I came across that really solved a problem many of us where having. When updating from OS 1.1.4 to 2.0 we lost our notes that are only on the iPhone – backed up to the desktop via iTunes but not viewable other than on the SmartPhone.
Enter – MobileSync Browser MobileSync Browser (MSB) allows you view the backup files iTunes creates from your iPhone. Everytime you synch your phone, iTunes keeps a local copy of the information contained in your iPhone’s SMS and Notes applications as well as your recent call history. MSB allows you to refer to these files and copy the information for archive or reference purposes.
Unlike a couple other options, you do not have to jailbreak the phone or even have it present/connected.
